MSI have made some big claims with their new gaming notebook. The GT640 which boasts Intel’s new quad core Core i7 processor, is a monster of a notebook there’s no denying, but will it live up to claims from MSI, that it will be the worlds most poweful gaming notbook? We will have to see.
In the meantime, while we wait for proof, we can tell you what to expect from the GT640. If you’re prepared to spend the kind of money the likes of the GT640 will eventually cost, you can expect to see up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 500GB of storage, Blue-ray burner, HDMI, 7.1 Channel surround sound, and last but ont least, a 1GB NVIDIA Geforce GTS 250.
Looking at the specs above, MSI certainly seem to have a notebook worthy of the “most powerful gaming notebook in the world” claim, we will just have to see if everything listed above makes it into the production model.
