News has broken that the MSI X-Slim X400 has now landed on shelves in the States, and is selling for around $799.99. MSI recently confirmed that the X-Slim X400 would be coming our way soon too, but as yet there is no release date. I would guess, that we will see the X400 by the end of October to allow it’s UK launch date to coincide with the launch of Windows 7.
The X-Slim X400 looks like an interesting little notebook. With a 14 inch screen, 1.3GHz SU2700 processor, 2GB RAM, 320GB hard drive, GMA 4500MHD Graphics chip, and HDMI outputs, it certainly appears to be a well stock notebook. I can’t stop thinking about that US price tag though, $799 will no doubt equate to £799, meaning this super slim notebook will not exactly be priced competatively. We will have to see what the UK launch brings us.
