New models and upgrades on the way
Leaked from ASUS, is details of their roadmap running up until June 2010. The image above provides details of new and upgraded eee pc netbooks planned for the states. It’s a good chance that we will see the same in the UK, as ASUS rarely make big changes accross nations. Not included in the slide above, is the rumoured eee pc 1201n, details of which are thin on the ground, but is likely to sport the new NVIDIA Ion graphics processor, a first for ASUS.
October should be the month that we see a couple of these new netbooks appear on the scene. The 1201n is penned for an october release date (which we feel is a little unlikely), along with the new eee pc 1005HA-P successor to the eee pc 1005ha. The 1005HA-P will feature the Intel N280 processor, 250GB hard drive, Windows 7, and 10.5 hours battery life.
Late in the year, or maybe even in 2010, we will see other 1005HA models emerge, as well as the Eee PC 1101HA-M which will be a flagship netbook featuring an Intel Z520 processor, and 11 hours battery life.
No news yet on a re-vamped 1008HA, so keep checking back for updates.
